有一次，我們考試英語，大家都考得很差，英語老師說：“英語在你們的心裏都作爲是一門副科，學起來感到枯燥無味，但是英語其實是主科。我們的許多同學都是語文、數學非常好，但英語卻很差，都沒考出好成績，你們想一想，三門共三百分，就算你們語文、數學都考一百分，加起來共二百分，除三還是及格多一點。假如一個外賓來我們學校，你不懂英語怎麼辦哩！所以必須學好英語。我相信，同學一定會學好，對不對。同學們都異口同聲的說：“對”。從老師這句話中我才深深體會到英語的重要性。從現在開始我要暗暗下定決心，把老師的話牢牢記在了心裏，我要刻苦學習發奮圖強把英語學好，將來還可以和外賓對話翻譯，那該多方便呀！還能看懂外國的書籍，瞭解外國的先進經驗，把外國的先進技術學到手，把祖國建設得更加繁榮富強。我一定要把各科學好考上重點高中，決不辜負老師對我們的期望。

他是一個小小英語口語家，英語成績在班級里名列前茅，口語被老師評價爲“老外的那種口音”，他就是我們班學習成績最好的班長——林禾！
林禾從四年級開始就擔任班長的重任，直到現在，他都沒下過崗，由此也可以看出他不僅成績好，還辦事認真，從來不會對班主任老師的話“不屑一顧”。而他也是英語老師的好幫手，每當考試完後，她都會讓林禾去批改試卷。林禾的英語成績直到現在都沒有一次低於97分。而“唯一”能和林禾抗衡的人，也就是我啦！但我每次都差他那麼一點點分數。
在上課之前，林禾總會讀上幾分鐘英語，他的口音極其流暢，英語從他的口中“涓涓流出”，幾乎沒有停頓，英語老師上課時總會語重心長地對我們說：“你們看看，林禾讀英語時可是初中水平……”
我十分好奇爲什麼他能這麼厲害，於是，在媽媽給我報英語班時，爲了學到高品質的英語，我便吵着嚷着要跟林禾一個班。媽媽禁不住我的死纏爛打，只好同意了。結果，我發現這跟我以前的英語班差不了多少。林禾爲什麼英語這麼好，還是一個讓人百思不得其解的謎。
直到有一天，媽媽嫌我口語不夠好，教訓我：“你看看人家林禾，每天都在跟老外模音！”啊！原來林禾口語那麼好是因爲他每天都在模仿老外的聲音！我恍然大悟。
“這應該只是他口語好的一個原因，”我思考着，“一定還有別的原因”。於是，我開始觀察他。我每天都偷偷地看着他，希望他有一點口語好原因的痕跡，可是，每次都是枉費心機。一直英語老師無意間和我說：“你知不知道？林禾他不是天生就這麼厲害的！他每天都會抽出一定時間讀英語，此外他還很喜歡讀英文書籍”我總於弄明白了，原來，學英語也應該持之以恆，勤加練習，要不然就會生疏。

那天中午，我開始教弟弟學英語了。我說：“Glad to see you。”弟弟卻說：“Glag to she you。”我聽了很生氣，說:“不是‘Glag’,‘Glad’，另外不是‘she’，是‘see’。”弟弟雖然把“Glad”改過來了，可是“see”仍是改不過來。我說“see”，他呢，偏偏說“she”，好像成心氣我似的。我讓他看着我的嘴，看看我是怎麼發音。他看了一會兒，改了過來。可是過了一會兒，又讀成“she”了。我說：“不是讀‘she’，而是‘see’,把舌尖稍微翹一點，舌頭的兩邊放到牙齒的兩側，牙齒的中間留一點空隙，開始發音，就發出‘see’了。”
弟聽了，似乎明白了，好不容易發出了“see”。過了一會兒，我又指出“see”讓弟弟讀，弟弟讀出了“see”，我高興的說：“弟弟終於改過來了，這可真是太好了！”
又叫了一會兒，弟弟不耐煩了，吵着說不學了。我靈機一動：要不學着英語老師那樣，一邊講，一邊做遊戲。於是，我就把我的想法說給弟弟聽，弟弟拍手贊成。頓時，他想變了一個人，一下子有了精神。經過半個小時的努力，弟弟不僅把課文讀會了，而且還背會了呢！

他從來都是一個有趣的老師，從頭到腳都洋溢着搞笑的氣息。要是演技好一點，說不定是一個喜劇明星。他的課上我們都不會無精打采地趴在桌上沉默不語，因爲他上課方式很有趣。大前天下午，我們剛從體育課上回來，個個都有氣無力地趴在桌上，老師見我們精神不好，一上課就來了開頭彩。他對着一個同學說：“這位先生你的髮型看起來像只炸毛的貓的毛。”我們齊刷刷地看向那個同學，還真挺像的，如同刺一樣，根根豎向了空中，我們都情不自禁地笑了起來。這一笑，彷彿驅走了疲憊，上課的狀態也好多了。
上着上着，有一個關於四季的單詞很是繞口，老師怕我們記不住，就說：“我們的班級是一個神奇的班級，有來自不同季節的人。”於是他找出了一個只穿着一件漢衫的同學說：“這是夏天的代表。”接着他又找出了三個季節代表，將他們統稱爲“四季組合“，逗得我們哈哈大笑，我們很快記住了這個單詞。
在這一課裏還有“吐魯番”和“葡萄乾”兩個長而難記的單詞，老師又很快想出了法子，他讓我們記下他們的中文諧音，這下好讀多了，將單詞和諧音對比起來，就不難記了。他叫一個同學站起來讀一下句子，但那個同學不自信，於是老師用搞笑的方式鼓勵了他，他充滿自信，大聲讀了出來。
我的英語老師就是這麼一個個性獨特，風趣幽默的老師。
