河坊街上可真是熱鬧非凡！來來往往的人羣川流不息，各式各樣的手工藝品五花八門，令人眼花繚亂。我們邊走邊看，忽然看見在一個小攤位上圍滿了人，我趕緊衝上前去看個究竟，原來人們都圍在那兒挑萬花筒呢！我拿了一個畫着京劇臉譜的萬花筒，朝裏面望了望，驚訝地看到萬花筒裏出現了變化多端的圖案，我就拉着媽媽讓她給我買了一個萬花筒。

回家後，我就開始研究萬花筒爲什麼會出現這麼變化多端的圖案呢？我問爸爸媽媽，他們也說不出個原因來。於是，我上網查了查。原來，萬花筒的祕密就在於光的反射，它的圖案是靠玻璃鏡子反射而成的。它是由三面鏡子組成一個三棱鏡，在一頭放上一些各色玻璃碎片，這些碎片經過三面玻璃鏡子的反射，便會出現對稱的圖案，看上去就像一朵朵盛開的`花。只要不斷地轉動萬花筒，玻璃碎片發生新的組合，就會有無窮的新圖案和新花樣。
