The man took a photo of himself from his pocket, and said,“I think now you know who I am?”

The clerk looked long at the photo and then said, “Yes, that is you. Here is your letter.

A philosophical mouse spoke loudly in praise of nature’s goodness for having made the mice such particular objects of her concern and protection.

“For,” she said, “one half of us is provided by her with wings, so that if all here below were killed by cats, she could easily restore our extinguished race by means of the bats.”

The good little mouse didn’t know that there were also flying cats and thus does our pride chiefly rest on ignorance.

“oh, Tom doesn't be silly. You know that dog won't be back with any medicine,” said Jack. “oh, yes he will.” answered Tom. Half an hour later, however, Blackie had not returned. Tom was feeling worried and felt angry at his friend's little smile. dog's mouth.

“Something has happened to him, I’m sure,” said Tom. “”He obeyed me as a rule.”

Just then Jack saw Blackie at a distance. He hurried to open the door and let him in.

Jack was shocked to see a bottle of medicine in the dog’s mouth.

“Good boy,” said Tom, “But what took you so long?” Blackie ran to the window, barking and wagging his tail. Tom looked out of the door and saw a bone outside.
