學習就是一場戰役，只有你把相應的敵人(指課程)徹底打敗，纔算勝利。這場戰爭你可以出奇制勝。也可以按部就班。一步步的走。但最終的結果必須要勝利。學習亦是如此，做爲學生，共要在學校呆十幾年的時間，學習做爲學生的任務。是必須要完成的。在林林總總的學生中，好學者有之，厭學者更多。爲了讓學生學好科學文化知識，任課教師也是在不斷的與學生們在鬥智鬥勇。想盡在奇招。這不，我們的英語老師宣佈了一項命令。

記得那天的第一節英語課，老師就打下了預防針。老師把我們全班分了十二個小組。每天上課檢查課文和單詞的背誦，實際上就是兩個人分別各背一遍，誰背得又快又好，就贏了，加分；輸了，就扣分。另外每人每天都要教聽力條，不交的，扣20分。另外，每學期都要一清分，正分的組，有獎勵。負分的組，需挑一人抄課文。老師剛一說完，全班好象炸開了鍋，議論紛紛：這課還怎麼上啊，這制度簡直要人命啊！就是呀，這哪是上課啊！我抗議！不少同學直接提出抗議，結果老師給全班小組都扣了30分，某些同學被罰今晚抄課文，全班同學都傻了。立刻變得鴉雀無聲。

下了課，同學們憤憤不平，可是，又能怎麼樣呢？我們班的鬧事大王可是頭一次吃這麼打的虧，頭一次遇到這麼嚴厲的老師。不少同學在默默背課文，強壓着心裏的怒火。

第二天上課上，老師第一件事就是查聽力字條。結果，全班不少小組都吃了啞巴虧，扣分像流水似的。之後老師又檢查課文背誦，有好幾個同學像結巴了一樣，支支吾吾了半天，什麼也沒背出來，結果每人被罰抄課文，又扣了20分，只能悻悻離去。同學們一個個大眼瞪小眼，驚恐的看着老師。

就這樣，幾個月下來，全班小組都成了負分，這意味着，全班寒假都要抄課文了。同學們很多都垂頭喪氣，任人宰割。但是還得學習。但有一天，事件終於迎來了轉機。

這天，剛一上課，英語課代表就把手舉得高高的。幹什麼呀？老師拿書敲了一下桌子，問英語課代表。老師嚴肅的目光又有點讓人害怕，看着課代表。課代表趕緊避開英語老師的目光，說：我要挑戰。剛說完，全班好幾十雙眼睛齊刷刷的瞪着她。她頓了一下，可能是對老師的威嚴有點兒害怕。我要挑戰，她轉過身，指向副課代表老趙。他。這時，全班的目光又投向了老趙。誰？站起來！老師那敏銳的雙眼仔細瞧着每一個同學，老趙還沒起來，老師已經走到他身邊了。老趙站了起來，目光慌亂，低頭看着桌子。這時，老趙的同桌一再給他打氣。小聲說：緊張什麼呀？咱們不可能讓女生給比下去。準備好了嗎，那就開始吧。老師的話語中帶着鼓勵。老趙擡起頭來，他的目光與老師的目光相遇了，彷彿擦出了火花。他知道，不比不行了。

老師拿起書，敲了幾下桌子，鄭重地說：這是你們班第一次主動挑戰賽，你們不應該忘記！開始！老師一聲令下，英語課代表搶先背誦。時間彷彿凝固住了，令人喘不過氣來。英語課代表不愧是英語課代表，不一會兒，就背完了，沒有絲毫錯誤，十分流利。同學們不僅鼓起了掌。該老趙背了，他剛開始背，有點語塞，不一會就好了。他雖然背的也很好，但和英語課代表來說，還略遜一籌。全班靜了下來，等待老師發話。

過了好一會兒，老師終於說話了：每人各加二十分！全本頓時響起了熱烈的掌聲！掌聲過後，好幾個同學舉起了手。

從此，在英語課上，要比賽的人絡繹不絕。記得是快期末考試的時候，上級教育主管部門來我們學校抽查各門學科成績。我們班在全級裏是成績最好的.，在口語課上，別的班的同學不少都磕磕絆絆，而我們班同學們大多同色的完成了老師的提問。並且很多同學都對答如流。爲什麼呢？這都是在課文比拼中，大家都鍛練了自己英語靈活運用能力和表達的勇氣，培養了同學們的沉着和機智，以及爭強好勝向上的心！
