A recent survey indicates that the monthly expenditure of a college student has been on the sharp rise. Many college students have no concept of thrift in their mind at all.
The following factors contribute to this excess spending. First of all, as the only child of their families, many students are the apples in their families' eyes and naturally get more care and pocket money. Some are even spoiled and take spending money from their parents for granted. In addition, with the improvement of living standards, parents can also afford higher expenditure of their children. Moreover, some students like to pursue fashion and trends, which can be quite costly. Finally, campus love is another possible factor causing too much spending.
From my point of view, college students should learn to be thrifty. We should limit our expenditure on daily necessities but not buy whatever we want regardless of their prices. The habit of thrift can help us form fight values and is favorable to our future development.

我是個英語弱智。
鄰班的小明跑來問我英語考了多少分，我環顧四周，確定沒人注意後，壓低聲音說：“×××……”我看到他的嘴脣和眼皮忽地拉大了距離，一副看到了非洲野驢的樣子。他連忙伸出右臂，摟住我的肩膀，用手拍拍我的頭說：“沒關係的……”像拍着一個弱智，當然沒關係，反正我是英語弱智嘛!
我遊蕩於校園內，先後碰到了小朗、小紅、小剛、小癢癢和大劉，並欣賞了他們圓睜的眼睛和呈現“o”形的嘴。我看夠了，於是轉身回去。
回到教室，走近我的位子。坐在前面的兄弟用手支着頭。我沒趣兒地走過去：“怎麼了?”當我看到他臉上從不曾出現過的痛苦表情時，我意識到自己不該問——這是顯然的。他說，他媽媽哭了，當他告訴她英語分數後，她沉默着，一個勁兒地吃瓜子。
他比我高4分。
於是這個晚上，我沒有回家，也沒有像往常一樣地給家裏去電話。我不是怕媽媽哭，我怕我哭。
我用我智障的腦袋去想，一粒屎壞了一鍋湯——英語毀了我的青春。
當聽說我還在媽媽肚子裏時，做b超發現我的後腦勺兒有個“凹”。我更加深信我是一個弱智了。
於是，我可以癡呆般地笑了，並滿不在乎地宣揚着我的分數——像在說別人一親友，以致別人聽過後總不確定地問一句：“你說你自己呢?”
記得我對英語老師說：“我聽不懂。”他說：“別人都聽得懂，爲什麼你……”他是個好人，對“殘疾人”工作很熱心，又說：“不會的儘可以問我。”我感動着，但又加了一句讓人心寒的話：“我都不知道從哪問起。實際上……我都不會。”於是，他啞然，無奈，轉身，離開。
弱智的'嘴裏吐不出象牙來。
人們一定不相信，每個晚上，英語弱智都在被窩昏暗的手電光下學習着英語。
於是，我每天晚上做着關於進行時和過去時的夢。夢裏，英語，不再陌生……

1.抄誦法
俗話說：“抄一遍勝過讀十遍。”讀詩詞或短文時先看一句抄一句;再看幾句抄幾句;最後看一段抄一段，直到看一篇抄一篇，也就是先讀再抄，抄完再讀。
2.時空法。
記住要背內容中表示時間方位順序的詞語。
3.人物法。
記住文章中依次(或分類)出現的幾個人物，這樣憶人思情，憶人思言，就有助於理解與背誦。
4.情境法。
創設具體情境，根據情境熟讀容易理解和記憶。尤其是優美的詩歌與散文，運用此法效果更佳。
5.情節法。
掌握故事的起因、經過、發展、高潮、結果等具體情節，據情而背就容易的多了。
6.延伸法。
背短文或詩歌，可從開頭逐句延伸背誦，即背會第一句，背第二句時把的一句帶上，背會第一二句，背第三句時再把第一二句帶上，如此延伸，直到全篇。
7.對比法。
把課文中具有對比的部分找出來，記住這個對比的性質、特點、作用，就容易背誦了。
8.問題法。
提出幾個具有連貫性、系統性的問題，根據問題答案的順序，記取背誦內容。
9.提綱法。
列出一個簡單的提綱，然後根據提綱練習背誦。
10.列表法記憶時先將需要背誦的內容進行列表歸納，使繁雜的內容簡單化、特徵化、條理化，一目瞭然，便於舉一反三，加深印象。
11.間隔法記憶課文的詞語不能怕重複，第二、三天還要再讀第一天讀的詞，溫故知新，常讀常新。
12.歌訣法。
將要背誦的內容，編爲歌訣，讀來順口，記憶深刻。
13.點線法抓住文章的脈絡，提煉出各層次的關鍵詞語、句子作爲記憶的點，如表現人物形象的動詞等，根據先後次序排列起來，再連點成線，連線成面，展開快速記憶，背誦課文，也就是按照文章寫作的線索順序，把全文的主要內容聯繫起來記憶。
14.分合法
先分句背，在句中背關鍵詞，這樣逐句背，而後合背，由詞連句，由句連段，再由段連篇。或先抓要背內容的主要部分，再帶動次要部分，再合背。
