Easter, anniversary of the Resurrection of Christ, observed on the first Sunday after a full moon on or after 21 March. People celebrate the holiday according to their beliefs and their religious denominations (命名). Christians commemorate Good Friday as the day that Jesus Christ died and Easter Sunday as the day that He was resurrected (復活). Protestant settlers brought the custom of a sunrise service, a religious gathering at dawn, to the United States. On Easter Sunday children wake up to find that the Easter Bunny has left them baskets of candy. He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize. The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the Easter Hare. Hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that All life comes from an egg. Christians consider eggs to be the seed of life and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

楊老師是我們班的英語老師,從三年級開始學英語,她就教我們了。她一個人教好幾個班,很辛苦,但每次見到她,她的臉上總帶着微笑,給人一種和藹可親的感覺。楊老師英語説得流利,上課氣氛活躍,批改作業又對又快,我們都很喜歡她。

記得有一次寫一號本作業,我寫得很認真,又讓媽媽來回幫我檢查了幾遍,覺得胸有成竹,沒有什麼錯了,於是第二天滿懷信心地把作業本交給了楊老師。只見楊老師拿着紅筆,一行一個勾,中間幾乎沒有什麼停頓,我想:楊老師改作業可真快呀!這時,楊老師突然停住了筆,我想:哎呀,是不是什麼地方有錯了,但不會呀,我和媽媽昨天明明查了好幾遍,不應該有錯呀!只見楊老師在一個單詞上畫了一個圈,然後把本子遞給我説:“嗯,不錯,只錯了一個,有進步!”我拿回本子,然後對着書一看,哎呀,兩個字母顛倒了,真錯了,楊老師的“火眼金睛”可真厲害!

還有一次,週三下午放學後,因我的《評價手冊》沒寫完,被楊老師叫到了辦公室,我找了一個位置坐下來繼續寫,楊老師在一旁批改作業,辦公桌上堆了滿滿高高的作業本,我不禁讚歎,楊老師的工作量可真大呀!於是我更加認真地寫起來,不想給她添麻煩。當我把本子交上去,還有一題不小心寫錯了,楊老師就耐心、仔細地給我講解,一會兒我就全懂了。

時光倒流,回到過去吧!三年級上學期。第一堂英語課,那時,我正坐在座位上仔細的聽課,可是才過了一會兒,我就躁動不安了,開始和別人説話了,就這樣我一直説了大半節課。從此以後,我再也沒聽過課,除非老師一直盯着我或者從我身邊走過,我才裝一會兒,其他時間都用來和別人講話、傳紙條、玩。我的英語成績也變得一落千丈。

時間往回轉吧,回到9月1日,那天,媽媽帶我去報名,碰到了英語老師,老師對媽媽説:“你家孩子英語不行,要多看英語書哎!”自從那天,我天天翻開了那幾本像新的一樣的英語書,盯着一羣密密麻麻的英語字母,也不知是愛是恨。

我第一次見到她是在20xx年秋,那年開學,我升入三年級。新學年第一天的英語課上,我跟她第一次見面。朱老師個子不高,皮膚也不夠白。她留着一頭短髮,戴着一副眼鏡。

她每次一進教室,動作都是那麼利落。黑板擦完,緊接着快速寫好板書,準備上課。她的字是那樣的蒼勁有力,拿起粉筆,只聽見一陣“咚咚咚”敲擊黑板的聲音。粉筆在她的手中好像被施了魔法似的 ,立即就飛舞起來。三兩下,一排整齊而均勻的英語就出現在我的眼前

課後我和夥伴們曾想模仿着朱老師的樣子在黑板上寫字,結果好多次都沒有成功,就算仿像了,也沒有辦法寫出朱老師的那種灑脱和蒼勁有力。

朱老師對我們十分嚴格。如果哪天誰都字寫得像“亂稻草”,她一定會毫不留情地讓他重寫。

國慶節回校的第一天,我一共錯了兩處,字也寫得難看。全班就五個人全隊,其中就袁嘉潤一個人的字寫得還可以,更別説我們錯的人了。朱老師大發雷霆,下令除袁嘉潤外其他人都重寫。我心想:重 寫是對的,因為我假期裏貪玩,作業草草了事。拿到作業本,我一筆一劃認真重寫。後來,我去批的時候,朱老師拉長了臉,生氣地説:“啊,連你這個班長七天在家都不會做作業了,那別人就更不用 説了!不像話!”我聽了臉紅得像一隻大蘋果,不禁羞愧得低下了頭,我暗暗下定決心不再犯同樣的錯誤。

朱老師就是這麼一個嚴格的老師,正是因為她的嚴格,煉就了我現在的自覺!
