A blind man was waiting to cross the road when his guide dog cocked itsleg, then urinated on its owner.

Calmly, the blind man reached into his pocket and took out a biscuit forthe dog. A passerby who'd seen everything remarked:“That'sextremely tolerant of you, especially after what he just did.”

“Not really,” came the reply. “I'm just finding out where his mouth is, soI can kick him in the nuts.”

The little girl stated that a whale swallowed Jonah.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human;it was physically impossible.

The little girl said,“When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.”

The teacher asked,“What if Jonah went to hell?”

The little girl replied,“Then you ask him.”

Another man put in a quarter and the computer read:“You weigh 184 pounds,you're divorced and you're on your way to Chicago.”

Milgrom was amazed. Then he rushed to the men's room, changed clothes and put on dark glasses. He went to the machine computer read:“You still weigh 195 pounds, you're still married, and youjust missed your plane to San Diego!”

Once there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in thecountry; the other mouse lived in the city. After many years the Country mousesaw the City mouse; he said, “Do come and see me at my house in the country.” Sothe City mouse went. The City mouse said, “This food is not good, and your houseis not good. Why do you live in a hole in the field? You should come and live inthe city. You would live in a nice house made of stone. You would have nice foodto eat. You must come and see me at my house in the city.”

The Country mouse went to the house of the City mouse. It was a very goodhouse. Nice food was set ready for them to eat. But just as they began to eatthey heard a great noise. The City mouse cried, “ Run! Run! The cat is coming!”They ran away quickly and hid.

After some time they came out. When they came out, the Country mouse said,“I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. For itis nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid.”

A farmer purchases an old, run-down, abandoned farm with plans to turn itinto a thriving enterprise. The fields are grown over with weeds, the farmhouseis falling apart, and the fences are collapsing all around.

During his first day of work, the town preacher stops by to bless the man'swork, saying, “May you and God work together to make this the farm of yourdreams!”

A few months later, the preacher stops by again to call on the farmer. Lookand behold. it's like a completely different place—the farmhouseis completely rebuilt and in excellent condition, there are plenty of cattle andother livestock happily munching on feed in well-fenced pens, and the fields arefilled with crops planted in neat rows. “Amazing!” the preacher says. “Look whatGod and you have accomplished together!”

“Yes, reverend,” says the farmer, “but remember what the farm like when God was working it alone!”

A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessivelymischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that,if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

The boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful indisciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. Theclergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in theafternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy downand asked him sternly, “Where is God?”

The boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeatedthe question in an even sterner tone,“Where is God!!?” Again the boy made noattempt to answer. So the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook hisfinger in the boy's face and bellowed, “Where is god?”

The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove intohis closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him inthe closet, he asked, “What happened?”

The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied, “We are in Big troublethis time. God is missing—and they think we did it!”

男孩尖叫着從屋裏衝了出來,直接往家跑去,鑽進了衣櫃,並把門關上了。當他的哥哥在衣櫃中找到他時,問道:“發生了什麼事?”

小弟弟喘着氣說:“我們闖了大禍了。上帝不見了——他們認爲是我們倆乾的!”

A professor stood before his class of 20 senior organic biology students,about to hand out the final exam.

“I want to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you this semester. I knowyou've all worked extremely hard and many of you are off tomedical school after summer. So that no one gets their GPA messed up becausethey might have been celebrating a bit too much this week, anyone who would liketo opt out of the final exam today will receive a 'B' for the course.”

There was much rejoicing amongst the class as students got up, passed bythe professor to thank him and sign out on his offer. As the lasttaker left the room, the professor looked out over the handful of remainingstudents and asked, “Any one else? This is your last chance.” One final studentrose up and took the offer.

The professor closed the door and took attendance of those studentsremaining. “I'm glad to see you believe in yourself.” he said. “You all have 'A's.”
