“請在一米線外等候”（Please wait behind the yellow line）被翻譯成在一條“米線”外等候（Pleasewaite outside a noodle），
北客站候車大廳一角的自助取款機前的地上畫了一條黃線，黃線上的中文寫着“請在一米線外等候”，下面的英文翻譯卻是“Please wait outside a noodle”。這個意思成了“請在一條米線或麪條外等候”，
北客站還有很多英文翻譯都不規範，比如“社會車輛”被翻譯成“Social Vehicle”，外國人一般會翻譯成“PrivateCar”；還有北客站的大牌子是“XI＇AN BEI
RAILWAY STATION”，而大廳裏的小牌子卻是“North Railway Station”，“北”到底該用拼音還是英文呢？

“Marriage Shop”。小孫說，Marriage(結婚)是法律或宗教用詞，Shop則是商店的意思。“英語國家通常會把這類機構稱爲‘Wedding Planner’(婚慶策劃)。這也是明顯的‘中國式英語’翻譯。”小孫表示。
